This is my soundslides project and my podcast for JR408. I used dropbox, and though it doesn’t appear to be working completely, I learned last class sometimes you have to wait for dropbox to load the file (or something?). So, it’s in there, lets hope time heals this, and you can enjoy my w0rk.

The slideshow is a condensed and updated version of my “Walk Through Allston” picture series. It includes captions, some new pics, and streamlined versions of the original series. Allston can be quite the looker, so check out these glam shots.

The podcast is with my friend and room mate Marine Lance Corporal Marvin Dormainville. As of Friday, Marvin is in California training for his deployment at the end of the month to Afghanistan. This interview took place roughly two weeks ago following his return from Haiti, where he visited family, and in some cases met them for the first time.  He’s seen a lot in the past month, and is about to embark on his first deployment. The boy is serious, but his heart of gold makes this a great chat. Talking to this jovial 22-year-old you’d never expect that he has the weight of current world affairs on his shoulders.
